Building a Habit of Wonder

Wonder grows when we make room for one honest question in the middle of an ordinary day.

Wonder rarely arrives as a grand revelation. More often, it begins when we pause over something familiar and notice that we have never really looked at it.

Choose one ordinary object today—a leaf, a spoon, a window, a shoe—and ask three questions about it. Where did it come from? What had to happen for it to be here? What would be different if it had never existed?

The answers matter less than the change in attention. Curiosity makes the everyday world larger.
