What Is Spirituality? The Journey Within
Not a set of beliefs, but a way of paying attention — to yourself, to others, and to the quiet wonder of being alive.
Ask ten people what spirituality means and you will hear ten answers. For some it is prayer; for others, silence; for others still, a walk under a wide sky. Underneath the differences there is a shared thread: spirituality is the part of us that asks what it all means, and that senses we are part of something larger than ourselves.
A way of paying attention
You do not have to leave your life to begin. The journey within starts wherever you are — in how you listen, how you notice, how gently you meet your own mind. Spirituality is less a destination than a quality of attention you bring to ordinary days.
The journey within is the longest journey, and the one you never finish.
Begin with a question you cannot answer, and stay with it kindly. That is the whole of it, and it is enough.
