Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we receive, why we use it, and the choices you have—including when you sign in with Facebook.

Last updated: 6 November 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Ananta Gnanam, including the website at anantagnanam.com, its account features, and sign-in methods such as Facebook Login. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

We may collect information you enter when you create or update an account, contact us, publish or save content, or otherwise use an interactive feature. This can include your name, email address, profile information, and the content of your request or submission.

Information received through Facebook Login

If you choose Facebook Login, Meta may provide information allowed by the permissions you approve. This may include your Facebook app-scoped user ID, name, profile picture, and email address. We use this data to create or link your Ananta Gnanam account and authenticate you. We never receive your Facebook password.

Technical and usage information

Our systems may process device and browser details, IP address, timestamps, requested pages, referring pages, security events, and session or cookie identifiers. We use this information to operate the site, keep accounts secure, diagnose problems, and understand aggregate usage.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve Ananta Gnanam.
  • Create, authenticate, secure, and support user accounts.
  • Remember preferences and maintain signed-in sessions.
  • Respond to questions, privacy requests, and support messages.
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and other harmful activity.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share limited information with infrastructure, authentication, storage, email, analytics, or security providers that help us operate the service. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a reorganization or transfer of the service. Providers are permitted to process information only for the relevant service purpose and subject to their own legal obligations.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide the service, protect accounts, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Session and authentication records may expire sooner. When a verified deletion request is completed, we delete or anonymize the account information we control unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or the establishment or defense of legal claims. Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until they cycle out.

For step-by-step instructions, visit our Data Deletion page. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies or similar storage where necessary for authentication, security, preferences, and core site functionality. Your browser may let you block cookies, but doing so can prevent sign-in or other features from working correctly.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong account password, protect your devices, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Children

Ananta Gnanam offers educational content for curious minds, but account features are not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information without the appropriate consent may contact us to request its removal.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, object to processing of, or delete your personal information. You may also disconnect Ananta Gnanam from Facebook in Facebook's Apps and Websites settings. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes may also be communicated through the site or account interface.

11. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@anantagnanam.com. Please do not send passwords, access tokens, or other authentication secrets.
